Kandria
We're at Koelnmesse!
We've arrived in Cologne and are currently attending Devcom. Tomorrow we'll be setting up the SwissGames booth, and on Wednesday Gamescom finally begins. The first day on Wednesday is only for business people, so I don't know how busy it'll be, but Thursday and Friday are when things open up to the public. I'm not yet sure what exactly to expect, except perhaps for my feet aching terribly at the end of the day.
Either way, if you're at Gamescom, please check on by the Swiss Games booth in Hall 4.1! We're in one of the middle booth areas, and very well visible. Plus, we got chocolates, so really, wouldn't want to miss it!
In development news, thanks to some generous people we started on some more playtest sessions. We got another ~7 hour play time for a casual playthrough, which again sounds great to me. There's some others that have started theirs, but haven't finished yet, so I imagine we'll get more news soon.
Someone also started on a speedrun, and brought it down to 11 minutes, thanks to figuring out an alternate ending. However, that ending was too easy because I made a map editing mistake, so I imagine now with that fixed it'll take a little bit longer. Either way, I'm excited to see more results on that front, as well!
Naturally the playtests also brought forth a ton of minor issues, which we'll tackle in the following weeks. There's a little bit more of polishing and content production we need to do before the beta can be released, too, but we should be able to get it out next week!
In the meantime, some strange creature seems to have appeared in Kandria. Any idea what this is?
