Kandria
Testing for Kandria's next demo has begun!
We've started doing user tests for the upcoming demo in June. Initial reaction has been positive, and I'm personally pretty happy with the general flow of it. There's still a lot left to polish and improve, which is what we'll be focusing on now.
Some of the improvements that have already landed are general, such as usability improvements to allow configuring multiple buttons to the same action
Map indicators that give you a hint on which direction to go in when a new task starts
Support for localisation including mixed-language text
And general improvements to the platforming and combat mechanics. Combat especially will get another overhaul to improve the responsiveness and general feel.
I'm excited to get the demo into everyone's hands, along with the Kickstarter campaign! If you know anyone else that might be interested in Kandria, please let them know about the campaign. It would help us out a lot!
